Was told he played "Trapped" by Bruce, but that was released in '85.  Did he do another of those "which of these is not like the other" spot-the-wrong-year things? Or did he confuse the USA for Africa LP with the Bruce live box?

ETA: my sources tell me he did indeed backannounce it as being from the live box. So that's 2 goofs in a week for Mr. Willis.

Movie: Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
 1. Wang Chung, Everybody Have Fun Tonight
 -Movie: Aliens
 2. The Communards, Don’t Leave Me This Way
-News: President Reagan addresses the Iran-Contra scandal
 3. Timex Social Club, Rumors
 -Movie: Pretty in Pink
 4. Bruce Springsteen, Trapped (live)
 -News: Chernobyl nuclear disaster
 5. The Dream Academy, Life in a Northern Town
 -Movie: Top Gun
 6. INXS, What You Need
 -Taco Bell Seafood Salad commercial
 7. Prince, Kiss
 -News: Space Shuttle Challenger explodes
 8. Boston, Amanda
-News: Ronald Reagan space shuttle speech
 9. The Call, I Still Believe
-KFRC’s Dr. Don Rose signs off
 10. David Lee Roth, That’s Life

BOS Communards (a bustout, apparently); WOS Boston -- truly one of the worst power ballads of the era (which is saying something). Couple of serious LNs in the pack too. And some nice segues.

Yes. But Mr Willis thought "Trapped" was on it and it was not. He saw my comment on the Soundwaves page and he "mea culpa"-ed.

D'oh! That album had so much stuff on it I just assumed "Trapped" was present.

Still, as errors go, this is rather forgivable. At least he copped to it, unlike a certain former 10@10 host, whose reign was filled with errors that were not acknowledged.

I was thinking Trapped was one of the B-sides from the BITUSA singles, but that's not the case either. There was a version released on the USA For Africa "We Are The World" album in '85, and it hit #1 on the Mainstream Rock chart that year. (So far as I can tell, Bruce didn't release it himself until the "Essential"  comp in 2003.)  So in any case, not appropriate for a 1986 set.
Let's get right to it.
