ETA: Adrian Belew, "Big Electric Cat". NTM and surely a bustout.

went over like a lead balloon in snipeland. And I can't say I was crazy about it either.

Iggy feels like a horse -- another bustout, I'm thinking.

What was that clip from? Sounded like Kevin Kline.
ETA: Oh, it's "Sophie's Choice". Such a painful movie.

I would have guessed this significantly pre-dated the Duran Duran tune of similar name, but they're from the same year.
-
I'll give a BOS to Gang of Four's "To Hell With Poverty". I'm pretty sure I've never heard them before. Ever.
-
Trickle-down doesn't work -- > Gang of Four "To Hell With Poverty" BOS4. Another apparent bustout.

Gets a BOS from me as well. Another likely bustout.
-
Fab set with awesome variety, and only a couple songs I never want to hear again. Though I can't abide 38 Special, it was a nice contrast from the rest of the New Wave.
-
Near as I can tell, we got *three* bustouts today: Adrian, Iggy and Gang of Four.
Which I guess makes up for .38 Special. Almost.
-
Well, I suppose that means tomorrow is the Xmas set. I'll be elsewhere, and won't get to hear it until Friday nite I guess.
Happy Holidays, kids!
